Terms and Conditions
Information on Privacy

In conformity with Legislative Decree n. 196/2003 (the Personal Data Protection Code), the treatment of your personal information will be performed in accordance with the principles of correctness, legitimacy, transparency and protection of your privacy and rights.
We therefore provide the following information, in conformity with the provisions of Article 13 of Legislative Decree n. 196/2003.

Proponents and Parties Responsible for Treatment
The parties responsible for treatment are:
a) Controller : as coordinator of the “RFID - Farm to Fork” project, the responsible for guarantee the purposes and means of the processing of personal data is the University of Wolverhampton (based in Wulfruna Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 1LY, United Kingdom), represented by Mr. Marek Hornak Tel. +44 1952 288208 – e-mail m.hornak@wlv.ac.uk and Mr. Antony W Lee tel. +44 1902 322626 – e-mail a.w.lee@wlv.ac.uk ;
b) Processor : Treviso Tecnologia (the Treviso Chamber of Commerce Special Company for Innovation, whose home office is located in via Roma 4, 31020 Lancenigo di Villorba, Treviso, Italy) will process the personal data on behalf of the controller. On the basis of the analysis of their company structure and organisation, Treviso Tecnologia deemed it opportune to designate as the party responsible for treatment of the information, Mr. Giorgio Monolo, Tel. 0422 1742100 – Fax 0422 608866 – e-mail privacy@tvtecnologia.it.

The purpose of treatment
The information provided will be treated to permit the user to become part of the F2F Stakeholder Group (SHG), the community of interest within the RFID-Farm to Fork project. In particular, this implies the possibility to receive information on project progress and case studies of pilots of the food/drink supply chain, facilitating the collection of useful data on potential partners and interlocutors.

Manner of treatment
The proponents ensure that suitable instruments will be utilised to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the personal information you supply, in full respect of the provisions of Legislative Decree 196/2003. Treatment of the data may be with or without the assistance of electronic instruments.

Conferral of the data
Conferral of the data is:
- Obligatory in the case of information identified as an “obligatory field”, which is recognisable in as much as it is marked with an asterisk “*”. Eventual refusal to supply this information will not permit the registration of the user;
- Elective in the case of information requested in other fields: eventual refusal to supply this information will not affect the registration.

Communication and dissemination of the information and transferral of the information abroad
Concerning dissemination of personal data gathered and processed by the proponent, information will be available in the RFID-F2F project workspace and accessible only by the project partners, as listed below with reference to the relative norm of legitimacy.

The Rights of Interested Parties
You may exercise your rights with respect to the proponents of the treatment, in accordance with Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, which we reproduce below in its entirety for your convenience.

Legislative Decree n. 196/2003
Art. 7 – Right of access to personal data and other rights
1. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or lack of existence of his or her personal data, even if such data has not yet been registered, as well as the  communication of such confirmation and data in an intelligible form.
2. The interested party has the right to obtain indications as to:
a) The origin of the personal data;
b) The purposes and means of treatment;
c) The logic applied in the event of treatment performed with the assistance of electronic instruments;
d) Information identifying the proponent, parties responsible and designated representatives, in accordance with Article 5, paragraph 2;
e) Of the subjects or categories of subjects to which the personal data may be communicated or which may come to the knowledge of the data as designated representatives of responsible parties in the territory of the State, or their assigned personnel.
3. The interested party has the right to obtain:
a) Updating, correction or, when he or she is interested, integration of his or her personal data;
b) Cancellation, transformation into an anonymous form or blockage of data treated in violation of the law, including data whose conservation is not necessary in relation to the purposes for which the information was gathered or successively treated;
c) Certification that the operations referred to in a) and b), above, have been communicated, even with respect to the contents thereof, to those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except for cases where fulfilment of this obligation is impossible or involves the deployment of manifestly disproportionate means with respect to the right being protected.
4. The interested party has the right to oppose entirely or in part:
a) For legitimate reasons, the treatment of the personal data that concerns him or her, even if it is pertinent to the purpose of gathering the data;
b) Treatment of the personal data concerning him or her, for the purpose of directly sending publicity or sales material or carrying out market research or commercial communications.

On the basis of the above, you hereby acknowledge, upon agreement, that you provide your consent to treatment of the data for the purposes indicated above.
